Bet of the day
France vs Ireland
In a much anticipated EURO 2024 qualifier, France and Republic of Ireland will square off at Parc des Princes.
France looks forward to maintain their perfect start
Didier Deschamps’ team have won all four of their games with a clean sheet, and they will be seeking to keep up their flawless start to European Championship qualifying.
France will need to prove themselves on the field if they want to maintain their perfect Group B record.
France team news
In addition to Milan center-forward Olivier Giroud, new PSG winger Ousmane Dembele is anticipated to start the match against the Boys in Green.
Lucas Hernandez makes his return from injury. Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante were both left off the list.
Ireland, on the other hand, needed to defeat Gibraltar badly, and they were able to do it.
The French, who want to secure their spot in the European Championship finals as soon as possible, will present a far bigger challenge for the visitors.
Ireland are now third in Group B after defeating Gibraltar 3-0 at home the previous time around. The team of Stephen Kenny will now play the Netherlands and France back-to-back.
Ireland’s team news.
Troy Parrott and Callum O’Dowda are no longer on the Ireland roster, although Chiedozie Ogbene, Ryan Manning, and Enda Stevens are still there.
Verdict
Back in March, a goal by Benjamin Pavard after 50 minutes was all that separated the teams in a close home victory.
With a clean sheet, France has won all four of their games so I am backing France to win to nil again @1.57 as my best bet.
My second prediction is a combination of a win for France and under 3.5 goals @1.75.
