Best 5 Selections
1, Olympiacos Piraeus to have an easy win against Panetolikos
Olympiacos struggled recently away from home. All the last 3 matches they played away ended in a draw. However, whenever it comes to their home soil, it is a different ball game. They have an excellent home record of winning all their last 6 matches at home. Panetolikos have achieved 3 wins and 3 losses so far and will seem to lose again against a decent Olympiakos who have a stronghold at home. Moreover, Olympiacos have beaten them in 5 of their last 6 previous meetings.
2. Benfica to win against Gil Vicente at home
Benfica seems to have fallen short of glory recently as they have only won 2 matches out of their last 6 matches. Nevertheless, they will continue their pursuit for the league title despite their recent form and will hope to beat Gil Vicente who just picked form at home. It may not be that easy actually because Gil Vicente have not lost any of their last 6 matches away. Furthermore, knowing that Benfica have beaten Gil Vicente in 5 of their last 6 previous meetings. I think Benfica’s dominance will continue again.
3. Sporting Lisbon is tipped to have an easy win against Belenenses
Despite the gap between Sporting Lisbon and FC Porto at the league table, Sporting Lisbon kept on pushing for a place at the first position. They have a decent record of winning 5 of their last 6 matches away from home. They will strive to win a struggling Belenenses in order to keep distancing themselves from Benfica who has been following them bumper to bumper. Furthermore, they have won Belenenses in 5 of their last 6 previous meetings and will be looking forward to winning again tonight.
4. Burkina Faso and Senegal to produce a low-scoring result
This looks like one of those AFCON matches in which both teams will play very cautiously in order not to conceive goals at this time of the competition. Both teams have been producing under 2,5 goals recently except Senegal which thrashed a lowly ranked Equatorial Guinea to produce over 2.5 goals. Burkina Faso looks very strong in this tournament and will hold the Senegalese team to a draw.
5. Mexico to have a comfortable win against Panama
Mexico surprisingly played a draw against Costa Rica in their last match despite creating so many chances but was not able to convert any of them. However, they will be looking forward to making amendments to that disappointing result against Panama. Again, Mexico have a strong home record and will strive to win Panama in front of their fans.
