1. Salzburg vs Austria Vienna
Salzburg are a formidable team and are capable of beating almost any team that crosses their path in the Austrian Bundesliga. They need just one point to be declared the winners of their domestic league. On the other hand, Austria Vienna are struggling to make it to the Europa League spot in the table. Their performance has not been quite good as they have lost 3 of their last 6 matches. Nevertheless, they will hope to get something out of this match and achieve their dream.
Salzburg has better quality players than Austria Vienna. This is a match they can’t afford to lose either. With their undiluted passion to lift the league once again, I see nothing else but a win for the home side.
My prediction: Salzburg will win.
2. Chelsea vs West Ham
Chelsea’s performance recently has been questionable. They have been putting up inconsistent performances so far. However, they still have what it takes to beat their London rivals, West Ham. Moreover, they have fewer injured players than West Ham.
West Ham, on the other hand, has its fair share of inconsistencies. To make matters worse, they are dealing with a slew of injuries and may field some inexperienced players. Furthermore, they are still competing in the Europa League, which could be a distraction to this match as they have one eye on that particular league.
The Blues can’t afford to lose this match, especially knowing full well that they have Arsenal and Tottenham chasing them closely. They will deploy every possible tactic to win tonight.
My prediction: Chelsea will win.
3. Everton vs. Liverpool
Liverpool are doing very well for themselves and they have put up amazing performances so far. Their target is to win the Premier League should their immediate rivals, Manchester City, drop a point. They have a couple of world-class players to do the job for them.
Everton are struggling at the moment and, as a result, have found themselves in the relegation zone. They won their last match and will be highly motivated to win this one. Their aim is to avoid being relegated, as they may lose some of their key players when that happens. Well, it’s unclear to me who is going to win between these two teams, but I know both teams should be able to find the back of the net.
Both teams are going to score.
4. Lazio vs AC Milan
All hope is not lost for Lazio, even as they welcome the league leaders today. The home side needed just three points to qualify for next season’s Europa League. This may be difficult, however, as AC Milan needs to win this match to edge closer to the league title.
The visitors are being trailed very closely by Inter Milan and can’t afford to lose this match. They have not put up superb performances lately but will get back to winning ways today. Their key striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is back in the team and can help the team win tonight.
My prediction: AC Milan will win.
