Portugal vs Luxembourg

When Portugal plays Luxembourg tonight, they will want to maintain their perfect record in Group J.

Match Facts

• Portugal had earlier defeated Luxembourg 6-0.
• They have also won all their previous Euro 2024 qualifying matches.

Portugal wants to qualify with a perfect record.

The Portuguese are on course to qualify for the 2024 European Championship competition, and manager Roberto Martinez must caution his players against becoming complacent.

With 15 points from five games, Roberto Martinez’s team is in first place in the group and five points ahead of Luxembourg in third place, who are still very much in the running for qualifying.

Luxembourg will have a bigger task against Portugal

On the other hand, Luxembourg are aiming for their fourth straight victory. But against Portugal, who are a serious contender and a tougher opponent at home, the Red Lions will have a considerably harder problem to solve.

They are attempting to become the first team in their history to reach a major tournament’s finals, and their qualification campaign have been successful thus far.
