Friday’s football predictions are 14 in number.
Out of the games that will be played today, I have selected the match between Mainz and Borussia Monchengladbach as my bet of the day.

Mainz aims to get their 3rd straight win tonight.
In fact, Mainz defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 on the road on Sunday to win for the third time in their last four league games, passing their opponents to move up to the ninth place.
Coach Svensson hopes to lead his team to a second consecutive top-half finish after coming in eighth last season, especially now that they have no European football or cup run to contend with for the remainder of the season.
Mönchengladbach is motivated by their win against Bayern Munich.
Nonetheless, Gladbach defeated Bayern Munich 3-2 at Borussia Park, continuing their impressive recent record against Bayern Munich.
In the first Bundesliga “Klassiker,” Gladbach defeated Bayern last weekend, yet many teams struggle to build a strong show against the champions.
Gladbach has struggled away from home, managing one victory, but they are unbeaten in their last six visits to Mainz.
Head-to-head comparison
- Both teams have scored goals in 5 of their last 6 encounters.
- Borussia M.Gladbach are unbeaten in their last 6 away games against Mainz across all competitions.
- Mainz have witnessed under 2.5 goals in their previous 3 games against Borussia M.Gladbach across all competitions.
Mainz team news
Dominik Kohr has recovered from a rib injury, while Silvan Widmer has an adductor issue.
Despite Robin Zentner’s return from a back ailment, Finn Dahmen will probably remain the goalkeeper.
Jonathan Burkardt, a key player, is still traveling home after a knee operation.
Borussia Monchengladbach’s team news
Conor Noss has a thigh injury, while Julian Weigl has a ligament tear that will keep him out for a while.
Muscle injuries are affecting Joe Scally and Marcus Thuram, while Tony Jantschke will need surgery on his knee.
Expert’s opinion.
From Steffen Freund
This match should be fiercely contested because both clubs have won their most recent games to go back into the top part of the standings, especially since they are tied on points.
I anticipate a share of the spoils tonight because Gladbach has only won once away from home this season while Mainz has performed better.
Prediction
Due to their equal point totals in the middle of the table, these two might have to accept a split of the winnings with both teams finding the back of the net.
Therefore, my first choice prediction is for both teams to score @1.58 while my big odd prediction is a combination of both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals @1.94.
