Celtic vs St Johnstone

Celtic are looking forward to making this match their 11th straight win.

Before their holiday match on Christmas Eve, league leaders Celtic face fifth-placed St. Johnstone.

The Hoops welcome the Saints in the hopes of duplicating their 7-0 victory in April over St Johnstone, which was then in danger of being relegated. 

Although Celtic’s victory over Livingston on Wednesday may not have been as convincing as some supporters would have preferred, nevertheless, rest assured that they will accept the three points after seeing how Rangers defeated Aberdeen.

St. Johnstone will hope to cause an upset against Celtic

The fact that Saints were worried about falling into Scotland’s second tier the last time they traveled to Glasgow speaks loudly about the start they have had. 

As we reach the midpoint of the Scottish Premiership season, teams in fifth place heading into this matchup should have expectations to finish in the top six or higher. 

In the end, they will have no pressure facing a hot Celtic side because they have nothing to lose.
