Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona Tipped To Be Victorious Tonight

Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have shown beyond reasonable doubt that they have what it takes to demolish almost every team in their various leagues. Moreover, most of their players are fit so the clubs shouldn’t have issues with injured players.

Now that the international break is near, every team will want to win before embarking on the break and I believe these three teams should get the much-needed wins.

Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona Match Previews

1. Wolves vs Manchester City

Manchester City Should Continue Their Excellent Form in EPL

Due to the many postponements of the last round of fixtures, Wolverhampton hasn’t played since September 3. This provided them some more time to arrange the free agent acquisition of Diego Costa after Sasa Kalajdzic suffered a long-term injury.

For a spot at the front of the line for Wolves, the former Chelsea player will face off against Raul Jimenez. The team led by Bruno Lage defeated Southampton last time out, 1-0. Wolves enter the match confident and well-rested, while City presents a different task.

With goals from John Stones and Erling Haaland in the Champions League, Manchester City defeated Borussia Dortmund with a 2-1 scoreline. Former Dortmund player Manuel Akanji played the entire 90 minutes against his former team as Kyle Walker was not played in that match.

Despite drawing away to Aston Villa in their most recent Premier League match, City have won their last two games in the Champions League. This time, Pep Guardiola will be going for the win, while Bruno Lage and his team will be trying to keep the champions in check at home. Whatever that happens, I think City will have a slim win tonight.

2. Augsburg vs Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich Expected To Get Back To Winning Ways In Bumdesliga

Bayern’s 12-year-old worst Bundesliga start is 12 points after six games and that’s why they found themselves in a 3rd placed position. The reigning Bundesliga champions have drawn three straight games for the first time since Louis van Gaal took over in 2009, and they will be so eager to make things right against the minnows of Augsburg.

Even though Augsburg have only scored four goals so far this season, They have managed to win two games on the road. They also defeated Bayern  2-1 the year before.

Anything else than a comfortable road win would be a massive surprise, despite Bayern having a Champions League spectacular match against Barca and didn’t have enough time to recuperate from in the middle of the week.

3. Barcelona vs Elche

Barca Will Venge Their Champons League Anger on Innocent Elche

Barcelona lost their first game of the year last week when they were defeated 2-0 by Bayern Munich as their guest in the Champions League. If Robert Lewandowski had taken advantage of his opportunities against his former team in the first half, the outcome would have been different.

On the other hand, Elche is still without a victory this season and is now ranked 19th in the league. They lost 4-1 at home to Athletic Bilbao after allowing four goals even before the second half of the game. They haven’t defeated Barcelona in 19 games and haven’t done so since 48 years ago.

Barca will transfer their aggression on them tonight as they head into this game with a loss from Munich.
