More football predictions today.
1. Real Madrid vs. Al Hilal
This is the semi-final stage of the FIFA Club World Cup competition.
In four of their last nine games, Real Madrid have only allowed one goal while scoring three or more goals twice.
They play Al Hilal, who have scored just once in three of their previous seven games and have only maintained one clean sheet in nine, so a 3-1 victory for the Spanish powerhouse seems certain.
Prediction: Real Madrid win and over 2.5
2. Clermont vs. Marseille
Marseille has consistently found the back of the net on the road, scoring in all the matches except one of their away games this year.
Additionally, they’ve kept clean sheets in half of those games and will look to do so once more here.
We believe L’OM can win easily because four of Clermont’s last five losses have been by more than one goal.
Prediction: Marseille will win
3. Las Palmas vs. Lugo
This match can be found in Spanish La Liga 2.
When Las Palmas plays Lugo tonight, they’ll be trying to keep their lead in the table standings.
In the race for automatic promotion, La Union Deportiva is now in the lead, although Alaves, Eibar, and Levante are still on their tails.
While Lugo is mired in the relegation zone, they defeated Lugo in the first half of the season.
Prediction: Las Palmas win
4. Hoffenheim vs. Bayer Leverkusen
Hoffenheim will play their first game today against Bayer Leverkusen under new manager Pellegrino Matarazzo after Andre Breitenreiter was fired.
The Hoffenheim players will undoubtedly step up their game to impress Matarazzo now that they have a new boss, but they might not be able to win all three points today.
News update: Al-Nassr to offer Cristiano Ronaldo’s former rival £16m-a-year to become his team-mate
Bayer Leverkusen will be optimistic about avoiding defeat at the PreZero Arena despite having dropped each of their last two Bundesliga games, but they have won five of their previous seven.
Prediction: Both teams to score and over 2.5
5. CSKA 1948 Sofia vs. Hebar
CSKA 1948 will host the second-worst team, who have lost all five of their last six away matches in the Bulgarian top league.
CSKA 1948 are very strong at home, as they have won 83% of their matches there.
Having defeated Hebar Pazardzhik five straight times, they should do that again with ease.
Prediction: CSKA 1948 -1 handicap
6. Spartak Varna vs. Ludogorets
Still in Bulgaria’s professional league, Ludogorets will exert complete dominance over their opponent, Spartak Varna, in an effort to top the league and go for the title.
They are doing very well for themselves, as they have won five of their last six away matches.
Moreover, they have beaten Spartak Varna back to back.
Prediction: Ludogorets win and under 4.5 goals is on the card.
