1. Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
Real Madrid will be so keen to beat an inconsistent Atletico Madrid to keep their title hope alive. Atletico will be motivated to cause an upset against Real Madrid after beating FC Porto in Portugal to qualify for the champions league. For me, Real Madrid have a better form and enough player quality to defeat their neighbor tonight.
Atletico Madrid on the other hand have been struggling recently. This is quite unlike them. Even though thy they have inconsistent, they may cause an upset because this is a Madrid derby. Atletico Madrid will be without key striker Luiz Suarez and several other injured players. Anything other than a home win will be a surprise to me.
My Prediction: Real Madrid to win
2. Napoli vs Empoli
Napoli are doing very well for themselves and have won all their last 6 matches. They are in excellent form and look towards extending their consecutive winnings to 7th by beating Empoli who are struggling at the moment. Moreover, they have a fully fit squad to select players from.
Empoli on the other hand have managed to win only one of their last 5 matches and would not want to be near the relegation zone. They may play a defensive style of football and hope to counterattack in order to score. However, I don’t see them taking anything from this match as Napoli are a stronger side than them.
