Portugal had a difficult time struggling to win matches in a group they were expected to be the first to qualify for the world cup. Turkey had 3 consecutive wins to make it to this stage. The Portuguese have more quality players than Turkey and are eager to correct their previous mistakes and get back to winning ways. C. Ronaldo can’t afford to miss his 5th and final World Cup appearance by losing to Turkey. Portugal have beaten Turkey 2-0 in their previous competitive meetings and they have the quality players to get the job done again.

2. Sweden vs the Czech Republic

Sweden had a frustrating moment as they suffered two consecutive defeats and finished 2nd at the group table. Their star player Zlatan Ibrahimovic who was called from retirement had a red card in their last match and will miss this match. Czech Republic finished 3rd and did well in the UEFA Nations League. However, they will also play this match without their big players and I can’t imagine them winning this match.

Due to the Swedish big miss of Ibrahimovic, I will choose a win or draw double chance for the home team as my Safe bet but Sweden to win @2.07 as my value bet

3. Brazil vs Chile 

Brazil have not lost any of their world cup qualification matches under Tite who is doing well as their team coach. Currently, they are 20 Points above Chile at the group table. Chile have won only 5 matches in their last 16 World Cup qualification matches. Moreover, Brazil have beaten Chile in 6 of their previous 7 meetings. Having known these facts,

I tip Brazil to beat Chile again at 1.47 odd.

Portugal is expected to beat Turkey with the help of the quality players in their team and make it to the world cup tournament. The man to look out for in this thriller is the team captain, C. Ronaldo. It has always been his ambition to lift the world cup before his retirement as age is no longer by his side.

However, the Turkish may cause an upset even though they are regarded as the underdog because they too will like to make it to the world cup. Nonetheless, all I see here is a comfortable victory for the Portuguese side.
