Today’s Football Betting Tips will feature five games, including the match of Manchester United vs. Leeds United as my chosen bet of the day.
The way games disappoint these days is not funny. That’s why I have decided to change my betting strategy.
Manchester United vs. Leeds United Preview
In the first of two encounters in a week, on Wednesday, Manchester United will take on managerless Leeds United at Old Trafford in an effort to extend their winning streak at the stadium to 14 games across all competitions.
Match Facts
- Manchester United are on a four-match winning streak in all competitions.
- Leeds United have not been able to win any of their last seven matches in the Premier League.
Manchester United targets another comfortable win
Manchester United have won four straight games across all competitions since their 3-2 loss to Arsenal, including advancing to the League Cup Final and migrating within eight points of the league’s top spot going into this match.
The one drawback from their 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace was Casemiro’s red card, which will keep him out of the next three games, including this one.
Leeds United’s problems remains unsolved
Leeds’ terrible league form continued as they extended their winless streak to seven games, which is currently the longest ongoing winless streak in the Premier League this season.
They lost 1-0 to relegation-fighting opponents Nottingham Forest before this encounter.
Manchester United team news
Injuries to Donny van de Beek’s knee and Christian Eriksen’s ankle could prevent them from playing again until April or even May, respectively.
Due to a muscle problem, Scott McTominay is still sidelined.
EPL News: It’s first time I’ve seen this in my career – Thiago Silva react to Chelsea’s spending
Anthony Martial is still out of action because he had a setback in his injury recovery,
After receiving a straight red card against Crystal Palace, Casemiro is now suspended. As a result, Marcel Sabitzer might be set to make his debut.
Leeds United team news
Rodrigo underwent surgery for an ankle injury, and he won’t return until April.
Stuart Dallas, Adam Foreshaw, and Archie Gray are still on injured reserve.
Due to the ankle injury Sonny Perkins acquired against Accrington Stanley, he will likely also miss this game.
After serving his ban against Nottingham Forest, Robin Koch is eligible to play again.
Head-to-head comparison
Manchester United have defeated Leeds United in five of their previous six encounters across all competitions.
Prediction
This should be another victory for the Red Devils, given the current conditions on both sides and the fact that Erik ten Hag’s team has only ever lost at home once.
With this, Manchester United to win at odds of 1.45 is my safest bet, while a combination of Manchester United to win and over 2.5 goals at odds of 2.03 is my big-odd prediction.
