This is the first serious encounter between Nottingham Forest and Tottenham in the past 8 years at Nottingham’s home ground. The home team have been inconsistent since their re-entry into the Premier League. The team has lost one, won one, and played a draw since the beginning of the season. Although the Reds defeated Grimsby Town in the EFL Cup, I don’t see that as contention as they played against a lowly-rated team. Today, they will face a formidable opponent in Antonio Conte’s team.

Harry Kane’s goal gave his team the much-needed victory over Wolverhampton, and they are considered favorites to defeat Nottingham Forest as well. Although Nottingham is proven difficult to defeat at home, I think Tottenham should win again after their strong start to the campaign. The defending champions are also set to continue playing in an offensive manner. The combination of Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar will continue to make life difficult for the opponent’s defensive line.
Vitinha was suspended in their last match due to the acquisition of double yellow cards and so will miss this match. Rafinha is also not available.
Monaco, on the other hand, had a variety of defensive issues at the moment. They lost terribly to Lens in a 4-1 thriller. Vanderson is suspended and will miss this game. Myron Boadu is uncertain while Youssouf Fofana is back to the squad after serving his suspension period.
