My Predictions.
My sure bet for this match is a straight win for Royale Union @1.30 odd while my second choice is a combined bet of Royale Union win and over 1.5 goals @1.49 odd.
However, there are some guys that likes bigger odd so I will recommend a combination of Royale Union win and over 2.5 goals @1.88 odd.
Why I chose this match.
Royale Union SG will play Beerschot Wilrijk at home tonight in an attempt to earn their first victory of the 2024–25 Belgian Pro League season which kicked off last week.
Despite winning two of the team’s three preseason games, their new manager Sebastien Pocognoli, is yet to lose a game.
Tonight, he will be seeking for improvement after his team played a draw wth a newly promoted Dender last weekend.
On the other hand, their visitors, Beerschot VA, were promoted to the top division league after winning the Challenger Pro League last season and earned a return to Belgium’s top league after a two-year absence.
They will, however, now face a very big test against a team that has won three of their past five home games across all competitions and has not allowed a goal.
Even though Beerschot had a strong return to the top league last week, we believe they will find it difficult to compete with the hosts in this match because of the difference in their player quality plus Royale Union’s strong home record.
The hosts finished the previous season in second place in the league behind the league champions, Club Brugge and will need to start now to pursue their dream of winning the Belgium league title once more just like they did last season by getting the much needed win tonight.
