My sure bet is a straight win for Bayern Munich @1.28 while my value bet is a combination of Bayern Munich win and over 2.5 goals @1.71 odd.
Why I chose this match.
Bayern Munich will play Boca Juniors at Hard Rock Stadium in an attempt to secure their place in the FIFA Club World Cup knockout stages after defeating Auckland City 10-0 in their opening match.
The Bundesliga winners had a spectacular start to their FIFA Club World Cup campaign, but they have no intention of taking it easy against their opponents just yet.
Bayern’s playmaker, Jamal Musiala is vying for a starting role after scoring a hat-trick against Auckland City, but their left-back Alphonso Davies is still in the recovery room.
On the other hand, Boca Juniors drew 2-2 with Benfica in their FIFA Club World Cup opener, but they will face Vincent Kompany’s team who are a much more formidable opponent than Benfica.
To make matters worse for Boca Juniors, their key attacker Miguel Merentiel is a serious doubt after hobbling off with an injury against Benfica.
Both Ander Herrera and Jorge Figal have been suspended for this match so they won’t be available for Boca Juniors.
After considering Bayern Munich’s outstanding performance in their first game and the attacking qualities in their team, I don’t expect Boca Juniors to stop them from getting the much needed victory tonight.
