My Predictions.
My sure bet is a straight win for Bahia @1.51 odd while my value bet is a combination of Bahia win and over 1.5 goals @1.70 odd.
The reason for chosing this match.
Bahia are back to their home after playing two straight away games in the last two weeks, Eight days ago, they struggled to a 2-2 draw against Internacional after losing 3-0 at Atletico MG.
Ceni’s team still has an excellent record at Arena Fonte Nova which is their home despite their inconsistent performances away from home. This season, they have played 16 home Serie A games, winning 12 and losing just one.
Michel Araujo has been suspended while Willian Jose, the team’s top scorer, is available and is expected to lead Bahia’s attack as usual today.
On the other hand, Fortaleza’s most recent contest was against Atletico CE in the Taca Fares Lopes last weekend which ended in yet another stalemate, and this sets them up for today’s Serie A match.
They are still in serious relegation danger despite their improved performance, which have seen them go undefeated in five league games but however, this match will be a big test for them.
