My Predictions.

The sure bet for this match is a straight win for Real Madrid @1.23 while my value odd prediction is a combination of Real Madrid win and over 2.5 goals @1.54 odd.

Why I choose this match.

Real Madrid will be looking forward to add another title to their cabinet as they face Pachuca tonight in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final which was formerly known as FIFA Club World Cup .

The Los Blancos have gone three games without losing in both La Liga and the Champions League after a shocking 2-1 loss to Athletic Bilbao on December 4 on the domestic scene thereby giving fans the hope of winning this one.

Players like Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, and David Alaba will not be available for Real Madrid due to injury and there questions over Kylian Mbappe’s fitness.

Pachuca on the other hand, defeated Al Ahly in a penalty shootout in the semi-final of the 2024 Intercontinental Cup to advance to the final.

Although the game had 21 shots overall, according to the statistics, neither team were able to break through, and Pachuca maintained composure from the start to finish.

The starting lineup for the Mexican club is probably going to be the same as it was in the penalty shootout victory over Al Ahly, but Nelson Deossa is vying for a spot and might start in place of Arturo Gonzalez.

Pachuca might score, but Real Madrid should be too strong and formidable for the Mexicans, and in a that is expected to produce over 2.5 goals, the Spanish powerhouses should win.

Moreover, as the European champions, Real Madrid will be expected to do the needful and cruise to victory especially when they have a couple of world class players in their midst to help them secure the title.
