The Magpies (Newcastle United) are the favorites to defeat the Blades (Sheffield United ) in front of their home supporters because they are sticking to their long-standing record of playing far better at home than away.
The Blades are already a relegation candidates.
Sheffield United failed to cause an upset against Manchester United in order to stop them from winning at Old Trafford in their last match.
As a result, they are still stucked in the relegation zone. Moreover, they have been loosing to Newcastle United in 5 of their last 6 encounters so they are expected to loose again especially now that the host team are searching for a win.
Back the Magpies to win.
With so much confidence, I will back Newcastle United to win and over 2.5 goals to come on board @1.46 as my first choice bet.
This is because they have made their home stadium, St. James’ Park, a winning arena and because Sheffield United are the bottom team with one foot in the Championship division.
Secondly, my big odd prediction is for Newcastle to win in both halves @2.32 odd. This is perhaps, a risky bet.
