My Predictions
My best bet is a straight win for Ajax @1.45 while my value bet is a combination of Ajax win and over 2.5 goals @1.81
Why I chose this bet.
The kick-off match between Ajax and Heerenveen today looks likely to be an entertaining one.
With back-to-back Conference League victories over Vojvodina, Ajax demonstrated their worth, but they undoubtedly needs to improve their game to avoid the challenges they had last season.
Brian Brobbey, who was rested in the Conference League second qualifying round against Vojvodina, is expected to participate in today’s game.
Bertrand Traore, a returnee from loan, is battling for a starting role, while left-back Owen Wijndal is still in the recovery room.
On the other hand, SC Heerenveen have only won in one of their last ten Eredivisie games. They only won in three of their previous sixteen away Eredivisie games due to their struggles on the road.
Goal conceding was an issue for them toward the end of last season. In their final four league games, they conceded 14 goals, including 8 against PSV.
Danilo Al Saed, the new summer addition, will be one of the players to monitor in the away team.
