A straight win for Manchester City @1.23 is my sure bet while a combination of Manchester City win and over 2.5 goals @1.60 is my value bet.
Why I chose this match.
When Manchester City plays Burnley today being Matchday 6, they will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after an unfortunate draw with Arsenal last week.
In the Premier League rivalry over the weekend, the Citizens put on a strong show, but Gabriel Martinelli ultimately gave the Gunners a point.
However, this is the best chance Pep Guardiola’s team will have to get back to winning ways, as they are playing against a weaker team and we expect them to attack Burnley with all of their might.
Players like Rayan Cherki, Mateo Kovacic, and Omar Marmoush are still sidelined by injuries for the home team.
Burnley on the other hand, are viewed as one of the main contenders for relegation considering their struggles away from home.
They have lost their last two away opening matches and now that they are playing against a stronger team, any outcome other than a typical home win would be shocking to me.
