Malmo FF vs RFS
My Predictions.
My sure bet is a straight win for Malmo @1.30 while my value bet is a combination of Malmo win and over 2.5 goals @1.78 odd.
Why I chose this match.
Malmo will host RFS at the Eleda Stadion in the second leg of the Champions League second qualifying round in an attempt to finish off what they started in the first leg.
The home team defeated RFS 4-1 away from home at LNK Sporta Parks a week ago, but they will undoubtedly want to win again against the Latvian champions and secure their spot in round 3.
Botheim, Dahlin, Holmquist, and Lajqi remain out for the home team due to injuries.
Given Malmo’s offensive strategy, we believe the hosts will take an attacking style in today’s encounter.
RFS, on the other hand, does not appear to be competitive at this tournament even though they are doing very well in their domestic league.
All their previous victories in this tournament were against a lowly rated teams with young and inexperienced players so I don’t see them causing any harm against Malmo who are not new in this tournament.
To make matters worse for RFS, Japanese midfielder Yukiyoshi Karashima was injured last week and will not play this match.
Malmo have been participating in this tournament for years. They have more European competition experience than RFS and are willing to get the job done in front of their hone fans
In addition, Malmo have been able to transform their Eleda Stadium into a true fortress so i predict that the visitors will return home empty-handed.
