Manchester City are facing pressure from Newcastle United and Manchester United at the league table.

This is a must win match for them as they may be overthrown by the two united sides if care is not taken.

Moreover, Manchester City have beaten Chelsea back to back before the world cup break.

Manchester City have beaten Chelsea in their previous 3 encounters in all competitions.

Manchester City to ease off pressure by beaten Chelsea

This will be the first of two meetings this week alone, with both teams playing in the FA Cup on Sunday. The first meeting between these two teams this season ended with Manchester City winning 2-0 in the League Cup in November.

The ‘Sky Blues’ will try to stay competitive for the league title especially now that Arsenal’s pace was slowed down by Newcastle United when they engaged the Gunners in a draw match.
