Bet of the day.

Start vs Viking.

My Predictions.

My sure bet is a mixed chance of either GG or Over 2.5 @1.33 odd while my value bet is for Over 2.5 goals to come on board @1.51 odd.

Why I picpppppked this match.

Start will try to build on their crucial 2-1 victory against Kristiansund when they host title-chasing Viking in the Eliteserien. That victory broke the hosts’ three-match losing record and should provide a crucial confidence boost ahead of this big test.

The home team have been fascinating to watch this season, averaging a stunning 4.9 total goals per game throughout their last ten encounters while scoring 3.3 goals in each appearance. They have also been good at home, winning two of their past three league matches on their own pitch.

However, injuries to Lien, Tønnesen, and Torkildsen diminish their options against one of the division’s strongest sides. It is expected that their absence will affect the home team’s performance.

Viking on the other hand are still among the best teams in the league despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Aalesund last weekend. With an average of 2.3 goals per game and 2.5 points per game, the defending champions have won eight of their past ten games across all competitions.

With four victories from their last six away matches and just 0.83 goals conceded per away game, their away record is equally outstanding. Gianni Stensness, their defender, is suspended, but Vikings have enough squad depth and talent to make up for his absence.

We expect this match to be very entertaining and anticipate the visitors to win another thrilling match because of their superior roster and consistency.

I think it is best to bet on a mixed chance of either both teams to score or Over 2.5 goals but however, there is significant value in betting on Away Win, and Over 2.5 goals.

Start’s games average 4.9 goals, and both teams have enough attacking quality to produce another high-scoring contest, given that Viking have won eight of their last ten games and have a stellar away record.
