Bet of the day.

Slovan Bratislava vs Iberia 1999.

My Predictions.

My sure bet is a straight win for Slovan Bratislava @1.33 odd while my value bet is a combination of Slovan Bratislava win and Over 1.5 goals @1.54 odd.

Why I chose this match.

Slovan Bratislava had a comfortable 2-0 lead from the first leg of their Champions League qualification match against Iberia 1999 and they will try to finish the job tonight when they host this same Iberia 1999 in the second leg.

The Slovak champions defeated Banská Bystrica 4-0 in their most recent league game after putting in a polished performance in Georgia. With eight goals in their past four games, the Slovan are presently undefeated. Their defensive record has been especially strong, with seven clean sheets in their last ten games.

The hosts can go into the return leg with confidence and hope to win another European match since there are no new injury concerns and they they have massive home supporters to cheer them up to victory..

Iberia 1999 on the other hand have a difficult assignment after failing to put up a lasting impression during their first meeting with the home team. The Georgian team failed to create clear opportunities against a well-organized Slovan defense and only managed eight goal attempts.

They have demonstrated offensive prowess away from home, winning both of their previous away games and averaging 3.00 goals per game. However, in order to have any hope of making a comeback, they will require a significantly offensive and better defensive performance.

To make matters worse for the visitors ahead of this pivotal second leg encounter, defender Vahid Selimovic is doubtful due to an injury and may not play this match.

We think that bettors worldwide can find value in betting on Home Win, coupled with Over 1.5 or Under 3.5 goals (Slovan’s defensive solidity and the two-goal cushion could lead to a controlled contest), since they are in excellent form and have a significant advantage to defend.
